This job is coming along nicely. A few more steps before we ask for PTO. (Permission to Operate)
Sorry I do not post often.
I’m busy but I guess that is news. This one is cool as we load a roof.
Have a great weekend!
I was asked at lunch today if I have ever heard of a place for a homeowner to buy a solar system to install them selves. Of course!
Well, YES, we started setting up kits for just such industrious folks some time ago. It is a self install with help and plans available to get the permits and consultation as you install to see it is all correct and ready to connect to the utility power source.. All you need but a few variables like wire and conduit. No two jobs are the same on that.
We also have full kits for remote and off grid homes as well.
Businesses as well. Ranches, mining, wells, data collection and on.
More to come soon for this 54 kW system in process. Lots of work getting it ready.
We Love first load and layout day.
It always feels good.
it’s quite hot on the roof toast as we’re checking out all the dimensions from the engineering team.
the beginning of another 54.18 kW system. This will be a nice looking install.
Permission to Operate
That’s what is issued when a new system is allowed to connect to the grid. We love to hang these tags.
On a partly cloudy day on the roof. Temps can be tough on a crew.
174.8° on the roof deck on a 78° day…. You can see the modules are much cooler with the venting space under them.
Still not a cool temp environment.
Welcome to the reality that you can have a minimal electricity bill.
